P.R.A.Y. Ministry Youth Call Review/What About Your Friends?'

P.R.A.Y. Ministry Youth Call Review/Founder Sister Tonya  Bishop

Tonight's call entitled:  "What about your friends?"

Tonight's scripture references:  Psalm 100 and Proverbs 18;24
Tonight's Opening Prayer:  The Lord's Prayer
Closing Prayer:  Minister Javonte Knight

Excellent and anointed dialogue!  Our moderator for the night, Brother Kederer Holland definition of a friend was great.  One thing he said that stuck out was "that a friend is not always two people that share the same background and likes but they can be people from different backgrounds and is able to come together in unity with their differences."  So true.  We find that our best friends in life can turn out to be the people we did not grow up with and our likes are so different that people try to figure out why we are friends.  It's the unity as Brother Kederer stated.   Minister Javonte Knight stated that "association brings simulation."  Meaning that the company you keep even if you do not do the things they do can have an effect on and how others view you.  Sister Jennifer said it best that the best friend we could ever find is Jesus and the youth and adults must realize that .

I believe this dialogue touched both the youth and adults on the line.  I can say for myself I have learned being alone is a big difference than being lonely.  Friends come and go but our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is here forever until the end.  When I mess up, have issues, need a confident He is the one I know I can depend on and He has never let me down.  I have learned that keeping the circle tight is a great option when you are in the will of God.  You learn to love yourself and know who you are as Minister Javonte stated.

In closing, we must be prayerful over people that walk in and walk out of our lives.  We must ask God to provide us the spirit of discernment to expose who is for us and who is against us.  This walk of faith is a great walk but everyone cannot walk with you!
