Have you ever heard of this disease?  I read an article on it today and was astounded because I had never heard of it until today.  It amazes me there are so many diseases out there we are not aware as a people.  Please read to find out more about this disease that does effect females more so than males.

Fragile X Syndrome

Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is a genetic condition that causes intellectual disability, behavioral and learning challenges and various physical characteristics. Though FXS occurs in both genders, males are more frequently affected than females, and generally with greater severity.
