Read this article from Philanthropy News Digest: Achievment Gaps for Lower Income Gaps

It's sad that because some of our youth live in lower income families or foster care that the education provided is not the same as those in higher income families.  It is nothing new but for us to be in a country that has so many avenues for education, we should not still be talking about the achievement gap in our communities.  Not only in California as this article speaks of but in our own neighborhoods.

Working on L.I.F. Outreach, Inc. to giveback to our youth and help provide support in education.  They need someone to show they care.  It starts within our own communities first.  Everyone needs a chance.
